Description
Pure Encapsulations® Bromelain DR contains 2400 enzyme activity units (GDU) per gram and by using an acid-stable capsule shell (DRcaps®), Bromelain DR retains enzymatic activity.
- Bromelain is derived purely and naturally from the pineapple stem and is active in both the acidic environment of the stomach and the alkaline environment of the small intestine.
- It is a plant-based enzyme combination and not an isolated substance.
- Bromelain, therefore, comprises a group of different enzymes (enzymes are biocatalysts) and is a natural supplement to the diet.
Directions for Use:
- Take 1 capsule 3 times per day with or between meals.

- Do not use during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
- Acid-stable capsule shell (DRcaps®)
- Bromelain can influence the effect of antibiotics as well as blood-thinning medication. Please consult your doctor before use if you are using any of these medications.

Bromelain

I first had it prescribed by my dentist after a painful swelling due to a tooth extraction (in place of cortisone) and I was stunned by the speed if the swelling disappearing.
I know take it at the first serious signs of cystitis and this has helped me avoid further antibiotics. Really helpful and effective provided you are nit sensitive or allergic to pineapple.
